Bolstered by more than 20 years of professional experience—in the IT industry, in higher education, and many others—Patrick C. Huang has been active as an inside sales leader at Lenovo, in charge of its infrastructure solutions group in the U.S. public sector, since 2020. An award-winning individual contributor sales representative who has sold more than $1 billion, he’s created, developed, and implemented structure to get multiple inside sales organizations to run efficiently in numerous countries and was behind the creation of a new methodology on how to forecast that allowed him to be more efficient and grow his number of accounts quickly. He previously excelled as the director of Americas Inside Sales for Molex, a software global worldwide sales operations leader and manager at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, a team member within the electronics department at Target, and held numerous managerial roles with HP. In addition, he has been involved in the sales executive and events marketing team at iHeartMedia Inc. and served as a senior inside sales representative and project manager at Dell Inc., an admissions counselor at Oklahoma City University, and a talent executive at Trans Continental Talent, Inc.
Mr. Huang was also a long-term care representative at Genworth Financial, Inc., an account specialist at Seagate Technology LLC, and a project manager at the University of Oklahoma—where he created a program called Camp Crimson through which incoming first-year students spend a summer at the university to acclimate to being a college student. In addition, while a student at the institution himself, Mr. Huang helped it become a nonsmoking campus and later created opportunities for students to attain degrees in African-American studies, women’s studies, and Native American studies. Outside of his primary accomplishments, Mr. Haung has long tutored children, the money from which he privately donated to organizations during the winter holiday season.
Attributing his success to not taking the typical path, Mr. Huang looks forward to raising his children and preparing them for the world. Professionally, he wants to grow more through inside sales and eventually consult.
